According to research, about 40-55% of adults from age 20-40 still suffer from breakouts!
Adult acne is quite different from those gotten during puberty. It tends to heal slower, it lasts longer, and leaves dark spots too! It usually appears in weird areas such as chin, chest, back or lower jawline.
While stress is often a primary trigger for acne in adults, there are other factors that cause adults to break out such as overactive sebaceous (oil) glands, the accumulation of dead skin cell, bacteria and inflammation.
First of all, you have to understand what to do in order to slow down the appearance of break outs:
De-stress Your Life: Stress is a huge factor that contributes to adult acne. Try reducing stress through having massages, yoga, exercises or through breathing technique (take out time to close your eyes, breathe in and breathe out!)
Use High Quality Skincare Products: Always choose a skincare range that best suits your skin type. Just because your friend is using something that works for him/her does not mean it will work for you. Visit a skincare specialist to help you with products that will work for you and also help you understand your skin better.
Avoid Touching Your Face Or Picking Blemishes:Try not to pick your pimples. Your hands carry lots of germs during the day, therefore try to wash your hands before even touching your face and don't pick!
Avoid picking blackheads/white heads: If not done properly, this can spread the infection to other parts and cause more breakouts. Go for facials to get your face picked professionally.
And for the Ladies, NEVER go to bed with your make up on. Just don't! The skin begins regenerating and detoxifying around 10pm.This is why good skin care is vital @ night.
Having said that, these simple steps will help you achieve an acne free skin: Cleanse (using the appropriate cleanser), Treat (using appropriate acne treatment cream) and Protect (with the use of moisturiser).
Use Professional Skincare To Treat, Clear and Prevent Acne. This means you might need to go to a spa or see a dermatologist/skincare specialist. Most products used by professionals are much more potent than the regular over the counter products. A visit to a spa to treat acne can be the first step to a blemish free skin. An after facial experience will help you with dealing with your skin better as the specialist will tell you what products to use for follow up. Its advisable to go for a facial every 4-6 weeks till you notice a visible difference.

hi. i checked out the link and i guess the post is talking about the use of laser technique to clear blemishes. of course laser is one of the latest technologies in the beauty industry. and it definitely clears blemishes and improves the skin. however, one must be careful and research about the possible effects that UV rays, which is used in the laser treatment, can have on the skin. so if u feel u need laser treatment, its better to go to a CERTIFIED skin specialist and do a consultation first to find out the pros and cons. On the other hand, if u have blemishes, i would advice to start with a visit to the spa to have your skin checked out first. all u might need may just be several facial/skincare trips to the spa to do the work! good luck!!
